I had the same problem with this pump, the bottom part detached itself when mounted on the bike. It was about 6 months old and was better than those my fellow riders had for inflating tubes after a puncture but Its a shame i didnt realise it was under warranty and i threw it into the bin.
I've had this pump for a while now and it has helped me out on a number of occasions. However, on Saturday it fell apart! I looked down during my ride and half of it (the plunger bit that moves in and out of the chamber) was gone - lost on the roadside somewhere. Absolutely no use any more!
Recommended by staff at Stockport this pump is a little rocket!
