What is the water repellent feature of the component?
These trousers have water-repellent zones(lower leg at the front & seat)that prevent water from getting inside the fabric. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF. The water-repellent property slows down water penetration and prevents the trousers from getting wet too fast. It won\'t keep you dry under steady rain. To keep you dry, you need to add a pair of over-trousers(ref 8504646). Water-repellent properties can be reactivated by tumble drying the trousers for 10 mins on a low temperature.

Hand pocket opening direction
We have deliberately designed the sealing direction of the hand pockets as downwards. As such, the zip\'s slider does not irritate you when you tighten the waist belt of your backpack, and your things stay very safe in your pockets!
Which size should i choose?
The trousers have a fitted cut with stretch fabric in the right areas to guarantee high comfort levels when moving around. Select your usual size. Inside leg 80.8 cm in size 40 (M). Hem width: 20.1 cm in size 10 (M).

Quick tip: different-coloured markers help you put the right and left lower legs back in place quickly.
Hybrid structure
Trousers designed with 2 different components: - a durable fabric (207 g/m2) on the areas that need protection from abrasion (seat, bottom of the leg at the front). This fabric also has stretch properties. This gives you plenty of freedom of movement. - a light and breathable fabric (150 g/m2) on the rest of the trousers.

These trousers are ace! The material is strong but light and feels nice, and the side zips on the lower legs means you can change from trousers to shorts without removing your boots - 10/10!
I bought these for a touring/trekking holiday around Costa Rica and they did the biz. In the humid conditions in the rainforest with the leg attachments they were cool enough and in the towns and at the beach the shorts were light and didn’t make you feel really sweaty. I prefer my shorts/trousers a bit looser and these were perfect for me. They had plenty of pockets with zips you could keep things like your moby phone safe. Also, because the zips zipped downwards, they didn’t scratch your hands when diving into the pockets. Overall, a great piece of kit.
