I bought this sleep bag for winter in Scotland and I was doing camping with 0 º and is not working I was cold.
Comfy I'm 20,stone in weight I can at a squeeze manage to get in it's very good and very warm have use outside in December but for myself would go back and buy rectangular version of sleeping bag just for comfort of size
Compacted size, cheap price
Bought for my 10 year old for a recent camping trip. The nights were chilly but he was cozy, and slept well every night. Would definitely recommend
Usually a big decathlon fan but extremely disappointed with this sleeping bag. I was cold on a 9 degrees night and the material feels very cheap and uncomfortable to sleep in. Will be returning this item. My friend bought a 20 pound bag from Amazon, and I am sad to say it was better quality than mine.
Hi, thanks for taking the time to review our Forclaz Trekking Sleeping Bag 0c.
I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with this product, the nights in Scotland can definitely be chilly, even in Mid-summer!
However the bag should be able to keep you warm in such conditions, to be honest I'm a little surprised, because I have a 0 degree rated Forclaz bag, although the Trek 900 Down version and in similar conditions find it too warm if anything!
I have a couple of suggestions to help keep you warm, such as using an appropriate insulating sleeping mat such as our Trek 100 Forclaz Foam Mattress. If there is a lot of space inside the bag this can also prevent the insulation from working properly, you can fill any excess space with spare clothes which should help. Wearing a thin hat, some warm socks and maybe a thin thermal base layer could also help. Also using a sleeping bag liner can improve slightly the thermal properties of the bag and also help keep it clean.
That being said, if you are unhappy with the bag I would invite you to pop in to your closest store, where I'm sure they could find a solution for you.
I'm sorry again to hear about your bad experience, I hope you managed to enjoy the rest of your trip!

I'm so glad for this sleeping bag, I used it for 3 week through mountains, and hills, and it was so great to feel warm at night. It was 3 degrees. It maintained the warmth inside the bag, allowing us to sleep very well all night . It's water rezistent, and it's very good especially when you are in the UK where in the morning you wake up in the tent, and all the tent is wet inside. And one nice advantage if you go with your partner, you can zip 2 bags together, and it's very comfortable, you can warm up,when you just sit in a tent, or watch a movie. But I would recommend sleeping separately in bags, because while you sleep the cold air comes through the hole between bodys.I would recommend this sleeping bag because I tried more than 3 bags, and no one is better than this one. Thank you Decathlon
Great product. Go for it
Very comfortable and hot
Spacious and good thermal insulation… tried inside single tent with outside temp near 0 … only problem faced is too slippery from inside, if you are camping on slopes you keep on slipping in bag. Else good product
Very nice it's really good
Nice to use this product and softness it's very beutiful

We display on all our sleeping bags the comfort temperatures tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX) according to European standard ISO 23537-1 of 21/01/2017. The comfort temperature rating is the lower limit at which the user in relaxed posture is generally in thermal equilibrium and feels neither too cold nor too hot (for a standard woman in normal conditions of use). Choose your sleeping bag according to this criterion.
The comfort limit temperature is the temperature limit at which a person curled up in the sleeping bag is in general thermal equilibrium, neither too cold nor too hot (determined for a man in normal conditions of use).We recommend using an insulation mattress to optimise your thermal comfort.
A sleeping bag does not produce heat, but retains the heat produced by the body. If you are tired and cold and you slip inside a cold, damp sleeping bag, it is very likely that you will feel cold no matter how good your sleeping bag is! Your thermal comfort will therefore depend not only on climatic conditions (humidity, wind, etc.) but also on your sensitivity to cold (fatigue, etc.), your equipment (insulating mattress, etc.) and your clothing (naked, underwear, etc.)
Dress simply (1 layer of clothing is enough). Warm-up your extremities: hats, gloves, socks, hand/feet warmers, rubdowns, etc. A flask of hot water can be used as a hot water bottle (as long as there's no chance of it accidentally opening!)Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat) but do it without moving as this could create a draught.Use a bag liner to optimise warmth and avoid washing your sleeping bag too frequently.
A generous mummy shape that is wide at the shoulders and narrow at the feet to optimise thermal insulation (no heat loss) and make the product more compact, while maintaining some freedom of movement.Width at the shoulders 72 cm, height at the feet 34 cm in size L. 64/30 in S, 68/32 in M, 76/36 in XL.
Size S: 1450 g, user up to 1.59m tall. Bag dimensions: L 42 cm Ø 19.5 cm. Volume 12.5 L.Size M: 1550 g, user from 1.60m to 1.69m tall. Bag dim.: L 42 cm Ø 20.5 cm. Volume 13.9 L.Size L: 1670 g, user from 1.70m to 1.84m tall. Bag dim.: L 42 cm Ø 21.5 cm. Volume 15.2 litres. Size XL: 1790 g, user from 1.85m to 2m tall. Bag dim.: L 42 cm Ø 22.5 cm. Volume 16,7 L. Volume & dimensions may vary according to the compression applied to the product.
Ergonomic hood with drawcord.Double collar for protection from the cold.A baffle along the zips prevents heat loss.Double-slider zips for optimal ventilation. The top of the sleeping bag can be opened with the two side zips.
We use 2 layers of overlapping wadding:- one 115 gr/m2, 100% polyester (70% recycled),- and one 150 gr/m2, 100% polyester (70% recycled). The wadding is made from silicone-coated spiral fibres that make it highly compressible and highly durable.Despite its low thickness, it has high insulation properties thanks to the air trapped inside, and remains lightweight. It retains its warmth even when wet.
Can be twinned with all the Forclaz MT500 sleeping bag models. Can be twinned with the older models in the 2017 "Ultralight" and 2018 "Light" ranges.
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this impact on the environment, for the grey fabrics of the sleeping bags, we dye every other yarn in bulk, thereby reducing our water consumption and pollution. This process can reduce CO2 emissions by 16% compared to traditional dyeing methods. In addition, we use a wadding made from 70% recycled polyester
On a trek, you can snag a sleeping bag, it happens! The good news is that it can be repaired to prevent the tear from getting bigger or the synthetic fibres from escaping. To do this, we recommend that you use self-adhesive repair patches (ref: 8584596).If you don’t feel comfortable doing this yourself then a heat-bonded patching service is available at the workshop of your Decathlon store.
This sleeping bag is guaranteed for a period of 5 years from the date of sale indicated on the receipt. The product covered by the guarantee will be repaired or exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects excluding any resulting from normal wear and tear and those resulting from abnormal use. The product and sales receipt are required for this special 5-year warranty to be valid.
