a simple but great mat with the bonus of a reflective backing. it will be used with egg shell folding mat to give extra insulation and comfort without extra weight or the hassle of blowing up a mat or bed. the bonus of a 10 year warranty just adds to the great price .
Just what we need
Ok
Nothing else MATTRESS when it come to this Foam mat. lightweight and comfy!
Good price, tends to curl up when unrolling it (hold it down somehow!). A bit slippery, so if not on a level campsite, a sleeping bag tends to slip off ;-)
Not too bad
I actually brought this to go under a inflatable mattres. Great very comfortable to do yoga on to. Love the black & siver look. Brought another cut in half and use as a comfy sit when on the beach.

I used this mattress while camping in a tent and had no problem with it. The material is relatively soft and offers a good thermal insulation. No signs of consumption in the material after use several times. I would recommend this product if you are looking to camp far away from you car and you are looking for maximum portability, when carrying an inflatable mattress+pump is not an option.

For what it's worth, it gets the job done. Only bought it, as I didn't want to spend too much on a self-inflatable mat. It kept me reasonably warm and insulated from the ground. However, I will be looking at self-inflatable mats for my next trip.

What is the r-value?
The R-Value is a measure of the thermal insulation. It measures the ability of a mattress to retain or prevent heat from escaping from a warm body (human body) to a cold floor.The higher the R-Value, the better the insulation of the mattress.Please note that the R-Values can be added; this means that you can use two mattresses and add their R-Values.All our mattresses are tested to standard ASTM F3340-18.
