Thermal insulation will keep your young skiers at the right temperature, neither too hot nor too cold. The garment adapts to the body's physical movement and to the outside environment. Wed'ze uses wadding for insulation to keep the body warm. This synthetic wadding containing polyester stores more or less air, depending on the size of the fibres. So the thicker the wadding, the more air it contains, and the warmer it is.

The membrane is a very thin component applied to the inner surface of the outer fabric. This hydrophilic component prevents water from getting in (snow, rain, etc.), while allowing perspiration produced by your body to escape. The membrane is essential to stay warm and dry.

In addition to using a waterproof fabric, Wed'ze has made the 500 jacket even more watertight by giving it waterproof seams. These sealed, adhesive strips are fixed to all the garment's inside seams to make it perfectly watertight and guarantee total waterproofing in snow.

Because well-sharpened skis can tear or cut your ski jacket's shoulders, Wedze has added hi-tech reinforcements to prevent rips as much as possible.

A snow skirt is a form of protection situated at waist level. It is closed using press studs at the bottom of your ski or snowboard jacket. It prevents snow and air from entering during practice and especially in case of falling.

You no longer need to get out your ski pass! Your sleeve has a ski pass pocket so you can access the lifts quickly.

There's a label at the top of the back lining you can write your child's name on to personalise the product. Handy when you want to find your jacket at ski school, nursery or school.
