I work in a warehouse - I don't cover huge distances but I'm on my feet 8 hours a day, usually carrying 20-25kg or more, which over the last ten years has damaged my feet causing considerable pain. This is now my second pair, first pair lasted around 8-9 months and have been brilliant. Used in conjunction with own-brand insoles from a leading UK chemist. Can't comment on what they're like for running.
To class these as running shoes and at the price they are I wouldn't recommend them I've actually got shin splints from wearing them

Returned as they were not found to be comfortable
I was initially pleased to find these in my size but soon realised they have a strange squeak in the soles with every step! I have worn them for a week hoping to walk it out but it’s made no difference and is really irritating! I was also sad to learn Decathlon don’t have a shoe recycling scheme - not even for their own products. Sort it out guys I thought you were trying to be sustainable?

I got these for a casual 5k 3Xs a week after reading all the fantastic reviews about them. I had a quick test walk/run in them and they seemed so comfotable and exactly what i needed. The next day i did my first 5k im them, the first 2-3k seemed perfect, then unfortunately the dreaded squeeking started, it was so irritating, then to top it off, for some strange reason they stated pinching the soles of my feet. It started off so promising aswel.
Nice and comfortable, this is my 2nd pair, I can’t fault them I run 30 miles a week.

Excellent in the gym, especially when Super Setting in the functional training room. Quick turning on the spot is made easier with the comfort sole.
Decent shoe for the price, great value. Nice and comfy, good spring to them. Unfortunately not wide enough for me, they pinch at the instep
If I still had the receipt, I would have returned them. Both heals make a noise when you walk on them. It is so annoying. It started a couple of days after buying them. Now after about a month the right shoe has developed what feels like a lump. The build quality just isn't that great.

Thank you for taking your time to write this review. From what you've described it seems like an air bubble has developed in the soles. Very annoying but luckily it doesn't happen too often.

Slim fitting. I bought my normal size 45 and they are very snug! The 46 was huge!

How are the run comfort shoes specially designed for running?
When you run, the shock wave generated by each impact with the ground corresponds to approximately three times your weight. This wave runs from the heel to the top of the spinal column. The comfort of the RUN COMFORT running shoe, specially designed for regular runners, is based on 3 elements: cushioning foam, user comfort and support.
Why is there cushioning in running shoes?
In order to keep on running, you need to protect your body (joints, back, knees etc.) effectively from shocks and vibrations. The cushioning in the RUN COMFORT shoes has been designed to limit the impact of these repeated impacts on regular runners.
How do we guarantee great cushioning in run comfort running shoes?
The cushioning in DECATHLON RUN COMFORT running shoes is provided by a sole made of exclusive, flexible and soft EVA (Ethylene vinyl acetate) foam that we have dubbed KALENSOLE, along with the 'Circular System' technology: an air hole in the foam at the heel enables more effective and uniform dispersion of the shock wave.

When you run, your foot must be supported for a number of reasons: preventing friction, irritation and blisters.
How is support ensured by the run comfort running shoe?
Our RUN COMFORT running shoes are equipped with reinforcements at the back of the foot, as well as synthetic bands on the forefoot to envelope and support your feet during exercise.
How to choose the right size of running shoe
In order to ensure optimum comfort with your RUN COMFORT shoes, choose a size bigger than your usual size. There should be 1 cm between your toe and the end of your shoes as your feet will swell during exercise.
What does the drop of a shoe mean?
'Drop' is the difference between the height of the back (heel) and front (forefoot) of the shoe. To simplify things, a shoe with high heels will have a very high drop because the different in height between the front and back of the shoe is considerable, whereas the drop on a flip-flop will be zero.

How do i care for my run comfort running shoes?
We recommend that you avoid machine washing your shoes as this causes damage to the technological and material properties of the shoe; they may come unstuck or shrink, and upper fabric may tear.When shoes are very dirty (mud), we recommend washing them with soapy water and a synthetic brush. Definitely don't use bleach! Rinse with fresh water.Avoid putting shoes near a heat source to dry.
