      Description

These laces are designed to repair or personalise your trekking and hiking shoes.

Where are our Forclaz laces made?

These laces are manufactured in the European Union, in Italy, in a factory that specialises in making shoelaces

The advantages of these laces in a nutshell

These laces have been developed to provide a high level of wear resistance. They are all waterproof, and will not therefore absorb the water that might get into your shoes. The chosen shape is round, making it easier to lace up your shoes and have an even tightening force over the entire length of the shoe. The Round shape offers superior resistance to friction. The tightening will also be more precise, while also making the blocker more effective.

How long should your laces be?

The easiest way to work out how long your laces need to be is to compare them with your old laces. But the number of eyelets also gives you a good indication

What shape of laces to choose Do you go for flat laces or round laces?

Round laces: Advantage: they slide better through the eyelets, making them easier to tighten with a more even tightening force. Weakness: they come undone more quickly. Flat laces: Advantage: they are less likely to come undone. Weakness: they slide less easily through the eyelets and are therefore more difficult to tighten.
