In skateboarding, you often see images of people doing flips over 15 steps, cruising with hair whipping in the breeze and a smile on their lips, it makes you want to be part of it. But skating isn't always like that. With the Skateboarding Rules series, I wanted to highlight the moments that we've all experienced but never talk about.I wanted to show the trials and random incidents in the life of a skater, because it's part of all of us. Aren't we all a little masochist at heart?

How to choose the right deck size

A skateboard deck should be chosen based on the width you need. A narrower deck means easier handling (great for beginners and shorter riders). The wider the deck, the more stable it is and the safer your landings, making this type of deck good for taller skateboarders or those who like to ride the half-pipes. Sizes are given in inches. 1 inch = 2.54 cm.The length and wheelbase also have a major impact on deck handling and stability.

How much does the deck 120 skateboard deck weigh?

Around 1.150 kg in size 8". Because the decks are hand sanded and the density of each ply of wood may be different, the weight of each deck may vary slightly. Of course, the deck is only one component that determines the weight of your skateboard. The wheel size and trucks also have a strong impact.
