Bought as present ahead of completing the WHW later this year, only tested in Dorset and seems to work, although Scottish Midges are a different breed..

Good for keeping mosquitoes out when you are out in the mosquitoes infested woods or jungle. But can be incovenient under some circumstances. Overall, it serves its purpose.
