This cap complies with UV protection Standard NF EN 13758-1, giving you real sun protection. A UV-certified cap requires a fabric with a UPF index of over 50 and a full-coverage design that covers the face and neck for optimal protection.

What is Standard NF EN 13758-1?

This European standard establishes test methods to assess a fabric’s ability to protect against UV rays. It gives a UV protection factor (UPF) based on the fabric’s capacity to block UV rays. The products complying with this guarantee offer a certified level of sun protection.

How do you measure quick drying speed?

The product is first machine-washed three times, then line dried in the open air. It is then completely immersed in water before measuring the time that passes before returning to its original weight before washing. It achieves this in less than 120 minutes, demonstrating how fast it is to dry.
