How to remove these pedals
Install your bike so that it doesn't move and at the right height on your bike workstand.Using an Allen key or a pedal key (ref:8938257) Remove your pedals.Please note that the left pedal unscrews clockwise, and the right pedal anti-clockwise.
How to install these pedals
Each pair includes a left pedal (marked with a L or a marking) and a right pedal (marked with a R or no marking).If in doubt, check the packaging.Apply grease (Ref:8874174) on the pedal thread to prevent jamming.Use a pedal key (ref:8938257) for screwing in:
Right pedal (R)Screw clockwise.
Left pedal (L)Screw anti-clockwise.
Instructions for use
Avoid pushing through your heel or arch as you pedal as this can lead to pain and fatigue over time.
In the interests of comfort and for efficient pedalling, your foot should be positioned such that the ball of your foot is just above the pedal's spindle.If you need help getting the right position, cleats can help.
