I am upping my rating to four stars now. I have tried the computer in the daytime without my light and it works fine. I even took it to a known interference black spot where my old wireless computer used to go haywire and it functioned perfectly. I probably would have given it five stars had I got it in the summer but obviously can't rate it that highly now. I'm going to keep it for my fair weather biking
