Cycle inner tube

So far so good have ridden about 100 miles on this tube.Have to top it up weekly which is more than the branded tubes but all in all for the price a good purchase.

Snapped stem in pump

I had a puncture on a long ride and pulled one of these out as my spare, I had some pressure going in the tube until the pump was hissing at the head and there was no back pressure - I also couldn't remove the pump from the stem. The threaded part of the stem had snapped off inside the pump, also trapping the locknut on top of the presta valve - So I had to carefully wiggle the valve thread until it snapped to get the pump off without losing pressure (My pump was now useless) Very lucky it kept some air but also a very surprising point of failure I've never seen before, hopefully a one-off as the second tube seems ok. On a plus Decathlon did happily replace the pump and fit another tube I had FOC so no complaints there.

Good tubes at a decent price.

Needed 80mm tubes for my new carbon wheels. I’ve only had them for about a week and have put about 100 kms them. No issues so far. I keep them at around 95-100 psi and they are holding the pressure.

Didnt expect this

I had bought 4 tubes from you and all 4 had got punchered. Hardly 1/2km my son had travel and the tube was cut. The cycle mechanic had said that the tubes were old stock. I had bought another brand and till date i didnt get any problem with the other brand.

Not Bad Not Good

My tube punchered within 2 days and now I ordered same tube again because I need a tube for my daily commute...hope so this tube is good or not...let's see...for my rc100

Hello Abhishek,

Sorry for the experience you had with the tube and thank you for sharing the feedback and trusting us again with your second purchase.

We assure you that the tube goes through a lot of quality check before it reaches the shelf to be sold. If the second tube also gives you trouble please return back the tubes for an exchange. I will also recommend you to get the tyre and the wheel checked once at our workshop, sometimes they are the cause of a repetitive punctures.

I remain available for any doubts.

Good Presta Tube

Ordered via app got it within 2 weeks, easy to install, used for the trainer tyre, didn't use it on road as I use 700x32c for my actual wheel

How to choose your inner tube

Check the information indicated on the sidewall of the tyre (diameter and width). For example, 27.5 x 1.90 means a tyre with a 27.5-inch diameter that is 1.90 inches wide.On the tyre sidewall you will also find the dimensions in mm in ETRTO international units. For example, 50-584 means your tyre is 50mm wide with an inner diameter of 584 mm (27.5 x 2.00).

Removing an inner tube

Remove the old inner tube using B'Twin tyre levers

Checks to carry out before installing an inner tube

Check the condition of your tyre and replace it if necessary.Make sure no objects are lodged in the tyre.Check the condition of your tyre rim strip.A rim strip that is even slightly bent can cause punctures.Check that your rim does not have any other issues that could damage your inner tube

Mounting the inner tube

Watch our video before you start.Pre-inflate the inner tube slightly to avoid pinching.Insert the valve, making sure you are using the correct valve for your rim.Put the inner tube entirely inside the tyre so that it fits inside the rim.Take care not to pinch the inner tube when fitting.

Mounting the tyre

Start mounting the tyre at the valve.Finish mounting the tyre opposite the valve to avoid pinching the inner tube.Never mount your tyre with a tool or a tyre lever, as you risk pinching and puncturing the inner tube.

Inflating the tyre

Inflate your tyre carefully, to the pressure recommended by the manufacturer (visible on the tyre sidewall in PSI or bars, 1 bar = 14.51 PSI).Regularly check that your tyre is in the correct position as you inflate it.

Tip from the pros

To avoid punctures from pinching and for the best tyre performance, we recommend that you check your tyres and inflate them to the suggested pressure before every ride.
