I used this for 4 days in Wales both on the mountains and on the beach. Its super easy to pop up and put away and kept me dry during an overnight down pour.
took this to a festival it was ideal, only thing is im not the tallest person in the world and my feet touched the end easily. othert than that its great. cool in the day during the blistering heat and pitch black in the night.
I have used mine extensively, in every sort of weather that the Lake District could throw at me and it has never once let me down. Stays cool and dark when the sun blasts off your tent during those annoying hours in the morning. The ventilation makes sure your tent never becomes an oven. Waterproofing is great. Incredibly easy to pitch. A bit more tricky to pack away (like all popup tents) but it's easy when you have the confidence and experience.
I have two of these now and adore them. I love having my own space when camping and they are so cosy. But the bloody teens nick them so I don't get a look-in any more. They're really handy to take along to sporting events when the team gazebo somehow hasn't made the trip. Easy to pop up, a doddle to take down.
Originally purchased another model that didn’t have this Fresh & Black system. When I went to collect my tent at the London Surrey Quays shop I noticed this model that would suit my needs much better. Staff was very efficient and did the change for me in just a few minutes, I only had to pay the difference. Couldn’t be happier
I really don't like this tent ..not ideal for windy or cold days at all ..they need to also put some material from fly sheet to out sheet to reduce the wind from under the tent
Great tent, quick to set up and easy to pack away.....almost as quick as suggested :-)
The tent mounts by itself when opening the buckles. Putting it away is slightly more complex but still way faster and easier than a normal tent. If you are buying this I would recommend passing by a Decathlon shop and ask them to show you how it's done. It is really fresh and dark. About freshness you need to be a little smart and close the openings if it is too cold. During summer camping I could always find my thermal comfort, wind or not! No water leak whatsoever under the rain. In this particular model there is no space for backpacks. For that you need to buy a bigger one. Also this tent, when folded, is in the shape of a large disk, therefore not usable if you are planning to carry it while hiking. You need to camp close to you car. The interior is well organized, there are pockets and a hook where you can attach the lamp.
I’m giving it 5 stars not because it’s the best tent ever but for £65 it is very, very good for what it does. Yes, it takes a ninja to put the tent up I’m in the times stated (pegs and guide ropes) but is it easy and up in 5mins? Yes. I actually used it for a summit camp on top of Ben Lomond, Scotland (only advisable for low wind forecasts) and it was absolutely fine, even when the forecast was wrong and I got hit with 30-40mph wind and gusts. With bags and stuff, it would be a struggle to fit two people (I had a lot of camera gear, for example) and it’s not designed to be carried up a mountain, so not a compact thing when packed away. But it’s a great tent. And for the price, it’s an excellent tent.
Setting up takes a little longer than 2 seconds, but it can be a little difficult to put away. I only have the use of my left arm/hand, and I struggle to get it back in to its bag. At the moment, is is still loose in the kitchen. If the red strap that is used to squash the tent down would stay where it was pulled to, it would make it much easier to put away.
I’ve used this tent for two summers and thank myself every festival that I paid extra for blackout! It’s survived 50 mph winds and lashing rains but with no porch the rain does get the end of your sleeping bag wet when you go in and out. I’ve read responses this shouldn’t happen but it just does, the little cover doesn’t do a lot in British weather, you need a proper porch. I think the benefits outweigh this niggle. I’m now a whizz at impressing fellow campers with packing it down under 5 mins on my own and only takes 2 secs to put up as stated. The length is snug and with two people and luggage you’d be cosy but on my own with a bag (and even a dog!) I’ve been fine. Bits of the white have come off, tiny holes, but still waterproof. I think it’s really good value for money. Really happy and brought more products from decathlon that I’m satisfied with. Thank you.
I purchased this tent for festival. It’s very effective at keeping you cool and blocking out light. I opened it for the first time at the festival and was very easy. Only thing was there was a tear in the black lining which allowed some unexpected visitors in the night. Other than that it’s a great tent.
Bought this for my son to take to Reading Festival. He was going by public transport so the way it folds up so small, in an easy-to-carry bag is perfect. He practised putting it up (pops up easily) and down (bit more technique required, but it works if you do exactly what it tells you to). The black and white is perfect for summer camping - stopped the sun waking him up at dawn, and prevented the tent heating up too much in the day. Great buy!
Super easy tent for novis campers. Easy to put up, and away. Spent 3 days In Snowdonia battling constant rain and wind and tent stayed completely dry inside. Very impressive!
Fantastic tent for camping and it's a really good pop up beach tent as it stay cool and I'd the buy the tarp fresh aswel it's all the need for a comfortable sort weekend away

Cooler and darker for better sleep!Fresh & Black is a technology patented by Decathlon that allows us to reflect the sun's rays and insulate from the light thanks to specific materials. This reduces the sensation of heat in the tent and makes it darker. To get the most out of this technology, don't forget to ventilate your tent at night!
Quick pitching. The tent is free-standing: you can place it wherever you want once it has been deployed in order to choose the best location. When there is no wind, you do not have to anchor it with tent pegs. This tent is easy to fold away using the guiding system.
Recommended tent with a self-inflating mattress or trekking mattress up to 60 cm wide.We do not recommend using inflatable mattresses, that are more than 6 cm thick, in this tent.Indeed, this greatly reduces the volume inside the tent and increases condensation inside.
So that air can flow and be replaced between the bedroom and the flysheet, and eliminate the natural condensation as much as possible, the tent has 2 side panels that can be pulled apart and fastened with guy lines at the side (opened from the inside). The entire rear sleeping area flysheet can also be lifted from the inside by pulling on a rope.
All our tents are validated in the laboratory and in the field to guarantee the waterproofing. To do this, we put the entire tent under a 200 L/h shower for 3 hours. The flysheet is made of 2000mm Schmerber PU-coated polyester and the groundsheet is made of 120g/m² polyethylene. All the seams are sealed with thermobonded tape.
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all the guy ropes properly positioned around the tent should remain habitable in wind speeds of up to 50 km/h measured near ground level (Force 6).
- 1 pre-assembled bedroom- 1 waterproof flysheet- 9 pegs- 5 guy ropes-1 cover
Mindful of the need to take action to preserve our playing fields, we are committed to reducing the carbon footprint of our products.Given the significant impact of dyeing, we chose to use greige on the flysheet of this tent.Greige means that the fabric is not dyed and is in its raw state. It is a first step towards a more responsible design and we are working to make it 100% eco-designed by 2026.
This camping tent was designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during your camping trips or in the countryside.Continuous exposure to UV light over a period of several weeks can damage its textile part. Our tents do not belong to the category of "garden furniture" and are not designed to be kept outdoors permanently. To maximise the lifetime of your tent, it's important to store it properly when it is not being used.3-year guarantee.
Our tents are great for camping at night.Over time, they age and some parts may wear out or break. To facilitate repairs, we keep a stock of parts (tent poles, flysheets, bedrooms, etc.) so that they can be easily replaced. Don't throw away, repair !
