Description

Need to keep your drinks hot or cold for several hours? This isothermal bottle keeps them at the right temperature during your hikes.

How is heat insulation tested?

We’ve tested this flask in the lab according to standard EN 12546-1, at an ambient temperature of 20°C while filled to capacity. The time it takes to drop from 95°C to 50°C (drinks temperature considered to be warm enough to drink) is 30 hours.

The secret of the insulated flask?

This insulated flask’s stainless steel double wall with vacuum blocks heat by conduction and convection. A thin layer of copper reduces thermal exchanges by radiation. A few tips to improve thermal insulation: fill your bottle with hot water for 5 minutes, replace the water with your hot liquids, then close. The fuller the bottle, the better the heat retention. Warning: the flask is very insulating, liquids remain hot for a long time.

What are the features of the insulated flask 900?

You can open the quick-release cap with one hand by lifting the white latch. You close it by pressing the latch down or by screwing the cup back on. A removable tea filter is attached to the cap. Simply pull on it to separate it from the cap. Be aware that if you remove the filter after immersing it in hot water, it may be boiling hot to touch. The cup screws onto the bottle, making it easy to carry around, and is made from double-walled stainless steel with no vacuum.

What are the weight and dimensions of the insulated flask 900?

Volume: 0.7L Available in several sizes: 0.4L (reference 8641548) | 0.7L (reference 8641550) | 1L (reference 8750954) | 1.5L (reference 8901746) Cup: 20cl | 90g | Ø 8cm x 5.5cm Cap: 30g | Ø 4.5cm x 6.2cm Filter: 15g | Ø 2.8cm x 7.3cm

How do you look after the insulated flask 900?

Before first use, wash and rinse the entire product 3 times. For optimal washing and drying: 1. Separate all parts; 2. Wash them with soapy water by hand (a fine brush for) or dishwasher safe; 3. Rinse them in clean water; 4. Leave to dry separately, the cap should remain open when drying. In the event of odours, leave the bottle to soak for a night in a water bottle and vegan bicarbonate.

What are the regulations regarding the materials used for the insulated flask 900?

Our products and materials meet the food contact standards in force. They do not contain Bisphenol A (BPA) in accordance with the French regulations in force. We have chosen to use 18/8 (304) stainless steel for the flask's body, recognised for its food safety and for the top, a heat and shock resistant polypropylene.

Is the insulated flask 900 repairable?

Our water bottles are great solutions when going on a hike. Over time, some parts may wear out or break. To help with repairs, we make the most common parts accessible to you to make them easy to replace. Find all the information in the after-sales card. Don't throw away, repair !
