Composition

Main fabric

  • 100% Polyamide

Lining

  • 100%

Padding

  • 100%

Palm

  • 54% Polyurethane
  • 46%

Waterproof component

We measure a fabric's resistance to a water column, in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure withstood, the more watertight the fabric. Components scoring 2000 mm can resist the pressure from 2000 mm of water (roughly equivalent to a rain shower lasting 2 hours).

Waterproof membrane

This ski glove integrates a waterproof membrane which consists of a very thin film of polymer placed between the lining and the part of the glove which is in contact with the outside. This membrane is a barrier to water and makes the product fully waterproof. Complimenting this, the external materials of the product benefit from a water-repellent treatment, limiting water absorption.

Breathable coating

A breathable coating means that the surface is coated with a paste or liquid. Once applied to a fabric, it creates a protective layer often used as a waterproof barrier that wicks away water vapour.

Water repellent component

All Wed'ze gloves have a water-resistant feature that prevents the fabric from absorbing water, but to let it slide over the surface. Consequently, the fabric does not soak up the water. It remains lightweight and warm. The fabric is made water repellent by treating its outer surface. This treatment must be restored every 2 to 3 washes with the waterproofing products available in our stores.

Windproof

All Wed’ze gloves are “wind-breaking”. Did you know that wind makes you feel colder? With an outside temperature of 0°C and a wind of 20 km/h, the sensed temperature is -10°C. The "windbreaker" components reduce the cooling effects related to wind or the relative speed of sporting activity.

Easy on

Simply pull the wrist-strap inwards for speedy adjustment. All of the Wed’ze glove and mitten models for children have this strap, except for the FIRSTHEAT mittens.

Loss prevention

An elastic strap, called a “leash”, goes around the wrist, allowing you to remove your gloves or mittens on the ski lifts without the risk of losing them.

Nice looking gloves but not very big in 2XL

I bought these gloves as a cheap replacement for some old gloves. I was intending to use them for snowboarding but despite ordering 2XL size, they feel more like a medium/large. I wanted gloves with a large opening to allow me to wear my Flexmeter wrist guards underneath. I have big hands anyway but with wrist protection on, I have always bought XL to accommodate everything. When I saw that these were available in 2XL size I had hoped and assumed that they would have been larger than a typical XL from other brands. Unfortunately not. Lucky they weren't expensive, I'll keep them for walking instead.

Wedze 300 adult ski glove

I bought these for winter cycling so can't say how they would perform on the pistes. They are ok. Moderately warm and a little fiddly to get on, but not bad for the money.

Warm but poor quality

The glove was warm, the sleeve was a little short that meant snow would easily build up. However after 3-4 days in the Alps snowboarding the seem came apart and the inner lining started to spill out so ended up in the bin
