Adjustment at the top:
Chaps are a bit like a second skin: they need to be fitted, wrapping snugly around the rider's lower leg. To do this, our engineers have created the 500 half chaps in two leg heights and several calf sizes. The elastic section turns the chaps into a second skin. For good support, choose the ones that are the best fit! The supple material and curved calf will also work to give you the best possible fit.
Flexibility:
While the 500 half chaps give you good support, they also have the advantage of being very supple. Their coated microfibre material winds around your lower leg to let you move freely. Your ankle joint won't be restricted. Your lower leg is held in place, in contact with your horse, so that you can ride comfortably with nothing hindering your movements.
Robustness:
Thanks to their synthetic coated microfibre material, the 500 half chaps withstand the damp and offer good resistance to rubbing. For even more strength, the inside stitching near the zip is in a zig-zag pattern that also helps riders wear half chaps that are exactly the right size. The press-studs at the bottom make them easy to put on and keep them in place. Ready to ride!
