Water-repellency is a feature obtained by applying a treatment that prevents water from adhering to the surface of the fabric.It "slides off" without being absorbed, so the garment remains light, breathable and warm. Be careful: this does not mean it’s waterproof.This treatment can be repeated to keep all its effectiveness. Use sprays that are applied to the outside, rather than additives used when washing the garment, which can damage the product's breathability.

Because we are aware that we must act to preserve our playground, Quechua is committed to limiting the environmental impact of its products. This product is not currently completely eco-designed, however we are working on a daily basis to make it more responsible: We don't use fluorine on the main component, the wadding is 90% recycled and the polyester used is also recycled
