Pitching/striking
Standard dome assembly: installation of the hoops with the chamber, installation of the 3rd hoop for the storage area, then fixing of the double roof on.Reverse procedure when dismantling.
Mattress compatibility
We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or inflating mattress measuring 70 cm maximum width.We do not recommend the use of inflatable mattresses above 6 cm deep in this tent due to the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.
Ventilation
2 air vents at the top, equipped with 1 rear panel that can be raised (opening from the inside). 1 interior door with mesh on the upper part, space between the flysheet and the floor all around the tent: to allow the air to circulate between the sleeping area and the flysheet, to refresh the air and limit as much as possible the natural phenomenon of condensation. The Fresh technology reduces the sun's heat.
Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200 L/hour for 3 hours), as well as in the field. (2000-mm rated PU-coated polyester flysheet, 120g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams are sealed with thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you don't come into contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.
Wind resistance
We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A well-assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly deployed around the tent should remain habitable with a wind speed measured at 40 km/h near the ground (Force 5).

Product returned because the outer handle for carrying the tent is useless. Be warned the carrying handle on the outer bag is on the end so the tent can drag on the floor when carrying. Why the handle is along the length of the bag is beyond me, seems like an obvious place to put it to make carrying the tent easier and more practical. No other straps so can't hook it to a rucksack either. Unfortunately as seems like a good tent, just needs a better bag.
Fantastic tent for the price. The blackout works well keeps the tent darker and cooler in the sun so no waking up at 6 boiling hot and still comfortable to go in it in the middle of the day. Ventilation system works well with no condensation. A full size porch ground sheet would be better when crawling in and out of the tent. Overall for the price a great tent
Heavy rain first day and it was so easy and quick to put it up and held up to the weather
